City of Helsinki / Kirjastoheimo

Residents of cities have a growing interest in having an impact in the development of their own environment, for which the City of Helsinki already offers multiple channels of participation. A popular one is Kirjastoheimo, an open customer panel created by the library staff, set on developing the public libraries through co-creation and experimentation. The panel consists of six sub-groups, which met each other for the first time in a kick-off workshop in October 2018. We aided the city’s taskforce to a flying start by planning and facilitating the first collaborative workshop.
